Michael Parsons will be teaching on chapters 3 and 4 in the book of 1 Thessalonians. We hope you will join us tomorrow night at 6:30 as Michael continues our study of 1 and 2 Thessalonians.
As Michael asked at our first class in Eureka two weeks ago, we would like to remind you to please bring a guest with you. We would like to see the number of attendees to these classes grow, and by you, our regular class attendees, inviting others to them, we are confident that will happen.

Tonight, Monday, May 21st, from 6:30-8:30 pm in the Reagan Room of the Park Inn Ashland House in Morton, we hope you will join us as prophecy author and practical prepper Sharon Clemens delivers a message entitled PRACTICAL PREPPING FOR THE END TIMES, a timely discussion of how to prepare spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically for the times in which we live.
In Ephesians Paul warns the believers to make the best use of their time because the days are evil. We are living in the pre-tribulation period in which deception, lawlessness, wars, pestilence and earthquakes are increasing in frequency and intensity. Believers are called upon to occupy until He comes at the Rapture of the Church. The wise steward knows we may not escape more challenges such as Katrina, involvement in a Middle Eastern war, a major U.S. earthquake, economic collapse or global pandemic.
What can we do practically to be better-prepared for the next national disaster? For the next personal disaster? What does the Bible say about preparing and presuming? A discussion of current events will help provide perspective as we look at basic self-sufficiency that gives honor to God.
We also would ask that you please read the following message from the board of UHR.
Our ministry has recently received a generous financial gift from a faithful attendee. That gift was in the amount of $8,000; the gift was specifically designated to pay-off radio broadcasting debts owed to the Wilkins Radio Network. These debts total $16,952! As we have stated previously, the contract with Wilkins Radio Network was cancelled on May 1, 2018 per the terms and conditions of the contract.
The CEO of Wilkins sent us a letter dated May 15, 2018 stating that the entire balance of $16,952 must be received by May 25, 2018 or legal action would result. At present, we have gifts totaling $9,520 toward that balance owed of $16,952. There remains a gap of nearly $7,500 that must be paid by our ministry. Our intent is to honor the commitments of the contract with Wilkins Radio Network, in as timely a fashion as we can.
Through the years, God has been faithful to this ministry. For that we give Him the praise! Many of you have been faithful in your attendance, service to, and financial support of this ministry. We are extremely grateful for your support on behalf of this ministry.
We continue to ask for your prayers for this ministry, especially that The Lord would provide wisdom and discernment to the Board of UHR. We also ask that, if you have the ability and The Lord moves you to do so, that you support this ministry with a financial gift!
