New Feature of Our Homepage

We are proud to add a new feature to our homepage entitled Prophecy Chat. Mrs. Sharon Clemens, one of our class instructors, has been writing her Prophecy Chat email newsletter for quite some time to send to anyone who subscribes to it. We feel that this newsletter would be an invaluable tool on our website also, for anyone wanting to learn more about Bible prophecy, and also seeing how world events happening right now are taken directly from pages of Scripture. We hope you will agree. For more information about Sharon, a picture and a brief biography of her can be found under the Our Instructors tab on this website.

Prophecy Chat – October 5, 2017

Dear Friends in Christ,

The Las Vegas tragedy is causing an intense search for the killer’s motive in order to bring some reason to a senseless act. A motive will eventually be put forth for universal acceptance because the average citizen no longer understands that a senseless act is a motive in itself. Such acts are simply the acting out of EVIL.

Evil is a word that is slowly being rejected or redefined by our post-Christian culture. Instead, society looks for something outside of the perpetrator to blame. But the motive of evil is entrenched in the empty soul—not outside of it. It is SIN. [Romans 3:23]

This most recent mass murder will in no way be the end of this pandemic evil. This is just the beginning. Paul warned that the lawlessness of sin will continue until it manifests itself in the revealing of “the” lawless one—the Antichrist [2 Thess. 2:7-12]. He will then take it from there… The Antichrist will replace common sense or religious law and morality with an agenda out of the Pit of Hell. He will replace times and laws with government-sanctioned evil. [Daniel 7:25]

Evil cannot be understood or combatted unless it is identified for what it is. This will never happen in a society that takes no personal responsibility for actions. The reason is man’s innate FEAR that there is something in our race that cannot be controlled through human means, such as through gun control, false religion, high-tech surveillance, changing the Constitution, or the proper person in control of the government. When the world goes out of control, the Antichrist will offer himself as a solution.

Why don’t all unbelievers commit acts of violence? Spiritual warfare takes different forms on different fronts. Satan’s army is limited and not as large as God’s army, which stands to oppose Satan especially on behalf of believers. But demon possession is guaranteed to increase in frequency and intensity through the Tribulation, just as the other signs of the times such as war and earthquakes will increase [Matthew 24:4-8]. Yes, I am speculating that these mass murders have something to do with either demonic possession or oppression. Satan and his minions are actively involved.

Note that in order for Satan to possess a person’s spirit house, that person must open the door—through interest in the occult in astrology, Tarot cards, the Ouija Board, mediums, dark video game play, Wicca or other false religious systems, etc. Opening the door of our free will allows Satan to come in. Beware of “secret societies” that have initiation rites with an upper echelon for the privileged few, such as in Free Masonry. Also beware of secret or select groups within religion. Christ seeks to reveal Himself; He is not “in” esoteric religions or New Age occultism.

A veritable infestation of demonic insects like locusts will be allowed by God to invade the earth in Revelation 9:1-11. These locusts come from the bottomless pit. In Revelation 16:14, three especially heinous demonic spirits which have been imprisoned from ancient days are allowed out to do their worst in the final days of the War of Armageddon. In addition, the final heavenly battle between Michael the Archangel of God and the demons of Satan takes place in Revelation 12:7-12. Satan and his demons lose the battle and the demons are thrown down to the earth. They are no longer allowed access to space and the heavenly throne room of heaven; therefore they concentrate their efforts on the earth. In the time they have left, they seek to destroy as much of God’s creation as possible. This includes wholesale demonic possession of the earth dwellers. However, demons cannot possess believers because our spirit “house” is full of Jesus Christ [2 Cor. 6]. [See also the parable of the unclean spirit in Matthew 12:44-45.] Our Lord is greater than Satan and Satan’s defeat is absolutely sure [1 John 2:13; 4:4; 5:18; Romans 8:37.] For more information about demon possession, reference the Grace to You web site below.

Why do Satan and his demons torture and destroy even those who follow them? It is their nature—their senseless and evil nature—to destroy; their leader is named the Destroyer [See Rev. 9]. God is Creator, but Satan is destroyer and he will do as much damage as he is allowed to do in the short time he has left before Christ returns to this earth.

Senseless evil will continue and increase with the coming of Antichrist. The only answer is to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

In Him We Wait, Work and Watch,

Sharon L. Clemens
